James is an experienced Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University. He has extensive experience that has been developed over the past 14 years in a career which has spanned a wide range of organizations in which he has been able to work well with the executive and diverse staff at all levels. He has worked in a number of donor funded projects and programme institutional support where he mastered their grant policies and procedures and reporting. He has drafted, reviewed and revised finance and administration policies and procedures, crafted and implemented sub-grant policies and procedures, and successfully implemented and managed new accounting systems and procedures such as planning and budgeting, cost control and compliance, cash-flow and debt management and payroll management.
