Mr. Gilbert Musinguzi – Quality Assurance Manager (QAM)
Gilbert is responsible for UDN’s ultimate Total Quality Management (TQM). As QAM he handles Programme Design, Resource mobilisation, Monitoring, Evaluation, Organisational Learning and Reporting;
Pursuant to UDN’s adherence to quality standards as a robust organisation, he supervises the communication and documentation functions.
He was the National Coordinator for the UDN - led CSO consortium implementing the Social Accountability and Community Monitoring Consultancy that was commissioned by Inspectorate of Government under World Bank funded NUSAF 2 project. He Coordinates UDN’s District Peer Review Mechanism; Advocacy for Better Health; and Community Response to Enhance Transparency and Accountability (CRETA) Project under Northern Uganda Social Action Fund – NUSAF 3.
Gilbert holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education an MA in Public Administration and Management from Makerere University - Kampala, plus vast working experience with Government and NGOs. He previously worked as an information officer with Government. Other previous workplaces include World Vision International, Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda; Torture Victims Treatment Centre; and Network Against Small Arms and Light Weapons.
He is a governance and accountability activist; a member of United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) CSO coalition and other professional associations.
His passion remains embedded in his Masters’ course thesis - Mitigation of Challenges to Sustainability of Community Development Programmes.
