District Peer Review Mechanism
20th February 2020
UDN with support from DGF has carried out a District Peer Review Mechanism (DPRM) exercise in the sub-regions of Karamoja, Teso, Busoga and Kigezi. Specifically, the following districts namely; Napak, Katakwi, Amuria, Kamuli, Kaliro, Kanungu and Rukiga participated in the exercise.
As part of the exercise, a draft report on the exercise was produced and shared with the stakeholders in each of the participating districts as a basis for validation of the findings in order to refine the draft report through stakeholders giving their perspectives, corrections, clarifications and general ownership of the content to arrive on the final report.
UDN is, therefore, organizing a National Conference planned to take place to share the findings with stakeholders. The conference will involve representatives from the sampled districts, as well as line Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs). The total number of target participants in the National Conference is deliberately selected on the basis of their value addition to the LG Service delivery improvement discourse, and potential for supporting, emulating, scaling up and/or replicating best practices and outcomes of the process.
